Financial information has never been more accessible.

A headline on your phone. A podcast during your commute. A market update in your inbox. A social media post that sounds convincing enough to make you question your current strategy.

By the end of the day, you've likely heard multiple opinions about what you should be doing with
your money.

Our role is to help you sort through the noise, focus on what matters, and understand how today's headlines fit into the bigger picture of your financial life.

For decades, the goal was simple: save, plan ahead, and be disciplined.

Over time, those habits become part of who you are.

That's why spending in retirement can feel surprisingly uncomfortable, even when the
numbers support it. The hesitation often isn't financial. It's emotional.

If you've ever questioned a trip, an experience, or a purchase you've worked years to afford, you're not alone.

Learning to enjoy what you've spent a lifetime building can be just as important as building it in the first place.

Roth IRA or Traditional IRA โ€” which one is right for you? ๐Ÿค”

The answer really comes down to one question: do you expect your taxes to be higher now, or higher in retirement? In this week's video, Russell Riggan walks through the key differences, from how each account is taxed to withdrawal rules and RMDs, so you can make a more informed decision about your retirement savings.

It's hard to believe we're already talking about the second half of the year.

The goals we set in January don't become less important just because life got busy.

This can be a great time to pause, revisit your priorities, and ask yourself a simple question:

Is my plan still aligned with where I want to go?

There's still plenty of time left in the year to make meaningful progress.

Every important financial decision carries a story behind it. The numbers are only one part of the picture.

The rest is understanding what matters most, weighing the tradeoffs, and making decisions you can
feel good about long after they're made.

That's why thoughtful planning starts with listening before it ever gets to recommendations.

When people think about building wealth, investment returns often get most of the attention. But long-term wealth is rarely shaped by a single factor.

Tax decisions. Cash flow management. Major life events. Investment strategy. Over time, these pieces tend to work together, influencing outcomes in ways that aren't always obvious in the moment.

That's why financial planning is often less about finding one perfect solution and more about understanding how each decision fits into the bigger picture.

Most of us can name a teacher we still remember.
Not necessarily because of what they taught, but how they saw potential before we saw it ourselves.

As another school year begins, we'd like to thank the teachers in our community who invest their time, energy, and care into helping shape the next generation.

Your impact reaches further than you may ever know.

You have total control over how much you save and how you allocate your portfolio.

You have some control over how long you work and (partially) how long you live.

You have essentially no control over market returns and tax policy.

Far too many investors spend too much time and emotional energy on topics they have the least (if any) control over, and too little on things they can control. Not surprisingly, this leads to more worry and anxiety than is probably warranted.

The only truly useful advice is to control the things you can control because, in the end, that's all we can do.

๐Ÿ’ก What does it really mean to work with a fiduciary?
