Realtors! Here is a quick UAD 3.6 update: Fannie & Freddie just announced a temporary exception that means many lenders can continue using the current appraisal format instead of transitioning to the new UAD 3.6 format this November. The big appraisal-reporting changes are effectively being pushed into spring 2027, giving lenders and appraisers more time to prepare.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will allow approved sellers to have limited use of UAD 2.6 appraisals through mid-2027.
