Tromane and I said “I do” 19 years ago not knowing what God was preparing us for. We built a life together, we built a family together... and then adversity showed up in a way we never expected — cancer, for the 3rd time.

I didn’t share this part of my story to be praised. I shared it because somebody needed to hear that surviving and thriving are two different things — and you can walk through fire and still come out anchored. 🔥

This is a piece of the message I delivered as a keynote speaker in Orlando. It’s the same message I live every single day: Thriving Looks Different Than Surviving.

Clients often ask this question. Well, of course you can change your beneficiary, however we warn about leaving your benefits to a minor (child or grandchild) because the insurance company won’t cut a check to a minor.
