Medicare is getting a massive security upgrade for 2027. It’s about time. 🛡️

The new CRUSH initiative is shifting the game, moving from "pay and chase" to "stop and caught."

One of the biggest changes is closing the "Advantage Loophole." Right now, if a provider gets kicked out of Traditional Medicare for suspicious activity, they’re put on a "banned list." But because the systems don't always talk to each other, some bad actors have been able to "hop" over and continue billing through private Medicare Advantage plans.

Starting in 2027, CMS is linking these systems. If a provider is banned from Traditional Medicare, they are officially blocked from Advantage plans, too. No more hiding in the gaps.

CMS is also:
