And every year, somebody tells us insuring it is a waste of money.

Medicare review season is basically a group project. AEP runs October 15 through December 7. If you usually help Mom with this stuff, come in with her. She brings her questions, you bring yours, and we answer every single one until nobody's guessing.

Bring her medication list, her doctors' names, and that Annual Notice of Change letter from September. We'll take it from there.

Her plan. Her call. Two people in the room just makes it easier. And it's free for both of you.

If you're on a Medicare Advantage or Marketplace plan, check that your doctors and hospitals are still in network before you renew. Assuming nothing changed is how people end up with surprise bills. Don't do that. Please.
