THE STRUGGLE is REAL! Most of you have heard by now about the road closures basically cutting off Smithville from Wooster, but what you may not realize that 585 is also the main thoroughfare from Rt 21 to Wooster. The "drive-by" traffic that many Smithville businesses count on is now being detoured at Rt 57 and again at Apple Creek Road, leaving the village with next to nothing. Am I begging? YES, I am!! We are only halfway through this mess......MAKE the drive, TAKE detour (not at 57! LOL! Directions are pinned at the top of the page). You might just find your new favoite place! The Smithville Community Historical Society is open with FOOD TRUCKS every Wednesday all summer. Here's just a few of the small businesses in Smithville that would love to see you!
