Good news! One of our homeowners insurance carriers announced a rate decrease, and we love seeing opportunities for savings for our community!

Rates are decreasing in Louisiana by an overall statewide average of 8.5% effective June 1, 2026, for new business and July 16, 2026, for renewals.

The following risk types will see a greater rate decrease:
• Risks located in the following zip codes near Lake Pontchartrain (70002, 70005, 70122, and 70124).
• Homes newer than seven years old.
