Today was our granddaughter’s FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 🎒

There were smiles, a little nervousness, lots of excitement, and probably a few more emotions than anyone expected. But she did great—and most importantly, we all survived!

Watching her take this big step was one of those moments that makes you realize just how quickly time goes. Today it’s a first day of school, and before we know it, we’ll be sitting in the stands cheering her across a graduation stage.

A little kindness is making its way around Skowhegan this week.
Local business owner Donald Skillings - State Farm Insurance Agencys Insurance has been quietly spreading joy — first by giving away free dinners at Ken's Restaurant to support a hometown favorite, and now by sending floral arrangements to businesses across town.

We’ll deliver the flowers with no added delivery fee because we love to spread happiness too. This is the first bouquet going out. Who will be the lucky recipient?!! Any guesses? You'll have to wait and see, but feel free to guess below in the comments. 😂
