With ice storms and severe winter weather, power outages are always a possibility.

If the lights go out, please remember:

👷‍♂️ Linemen will be working in harsh, dangerous conditions
⏱️ Repairs take time, especially with ice-covered lines and broken poles
⚡ Safety comes first for crews and the public

Power outages are not caused by a lack of effort. Crews will be out there as soon as it’s safe, working as fast as possible to restore service.

💙 Please be patient and understanding.
Don’t blame the linemen — they’re doing their job to get power back safely.

2023 IRA Contributions - There's Still Time
File first and fund later.
Frequently, during tax season we are asked if an IRA contribution must be made before the tax return is filed. The answer is no. This is not required. You can claim a deduction for your 2023 IRA contribution now when you file your taxes and fund it later. Some people even fund their IRA contribution with their tax refund if the timing is right. Just don’t wait too long. If you claim the contribution, be sure you get it done before the deadline of April 15, 2024. Contact your tax accountant for specific details.
