I grew up in Hoven, SD raising rabbits and bottle feeding calves including my two favorite pet cows Arly and Buster! Hoven is located about 75 miles west of Aberdeen and I am proud to say Hoven is the original town where Plains Commerce Bank first began! My husband Jeff and I now live near Lake Madison and we have four children. Growing up on a family farm in rural South Dakota taught me a great deal about responsibility, respecting my neighbor, and appreciating life. I worked hard at Northern State University to achieve an Associate's of Business Accounting degree so I could learn how to run the numbers for my clients in a way that makes sense. Mortgage banking is a perfect fit for me because I find great joy getting my client to closing and seeing their face light up as they get the keys to their new home. Since each mortgage is so unique, I look at my career as though I am putting together a puzzle. Once all the pieces are in place, I am confident I have found the best deal to fit my client’s needs. My mother taught me to love my neighbor and I really love helping people. I guess that’s why I’ve been a mortgage banker for 16 years..

Labor Day weekend was spent exactly how I like it. A little fishing, time on the water, beautiful sunsets, campfires, family, and of course, the dogs right in the middle of it all. ❤️

Nothing fancy, just a really good weekend soaking up the last little bits of summer and enjoying some of my favorite people and places!
