Hello and Welcome to May 2026.
As I mentioned about 2 weeks ago, as of Friday, May 1st, our office hours changed from 8:15am to 5:00pm and now will be: 8:00am to 4:30pm and other times by appointments. I also mentioned that there would be more announcements to follow.

SO, What is that announcement you ask? Thank you for asking!!!
As of May 1st, 2026, 63 1/2 years to the day, that James and Mary formed McClintock Insurance in their home, We have joined in partnership with North Risk Partners. You will see the new signs and billboard changing in the next few weeks.

We heard our clients asking for more options and so, we listen and now will have more insurance companies than ever before. We will have value added services and expanding benefits and safety programs for the commercial business customers too. We are just so excited for these additional features.

Our office isn't moving, our staff of: Lisa, Carla, Jeff, Greg and Tim are all here to help along with our additional folks with North Risk Partners.

Thank you to all over our clients, friends and followers for your continued support thru all these years and thank you for allowing us to continue to serve as your insurance representatives.

Good Afternoon and Welcome to Spring and all the trees and flowers and grasses showing off their beauty. With the the seasons changing we will be making some changes ourselves.

Please look forward to the announcements forth coming. One of the changes we wanted to let everyone know is that our hours are going to be changing to 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday and then other times by appointments starting May 1st.

Yes, that is a big change for us after being 8:15am until 5:00pm for so many years. I will be working on this transition so will have some time for our customers to adjust to the new hours.

Welcome to March. Yes, 2026 we have entered into the time of year where we change our batteries on those smoke detectors, change the clocks and hour ahead on Sunday, March 8th and celebrate St Patrick's Day and First Day of Spring.
Also, the Sioux City Home Show will be at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Hello, in just a few days we will enter into 2026. Yes, another New year. Please remember to celebrate wisely. What are we looking for in 2026, we hope rates are looking to be more stable and we pray that mother nature also cooperates a little better.

We want to remind you to check those policies out as coverage changes are now a big part of the homeowners, dwelling fire and commercial property with roof replacement now containing the items of: depreciation, sliding scale payouts and actual cash value settlements.

Deductibles are a change from the standard $1,000, for now more in the range of $2,500 and even some companies doing percentage deductibles for Wind and Hail. Age of roofs are also limiting the ability to write insurance on some homes and dwellings.

Welcome to Tuesday, December 16th, 2025. The year seems to have flown by. Busy holiday season is upon us with Hanukkah, starting yesterday, First Day of Winter on Sunday and then Christmas and New Years all wrapped up in the next 3 weeks.

We want to thank you, our clients, friends, companies and venders for everything this past year and for everything coming into the new year. We have our calendars in if you want to swing by and get one. Also, Please, water those live trees, check those smoke detectors, CO2 detectors and furnaces . We want you to be safe for your family events.

Our office will be closing at 1:00pm on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, Closed on Christmas and the following day. We will be Closed on New's Day and then open on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

Welcome to the last week of November. Time seems to be flying by and now we are a few days from Thanksgiving and then on into December. We want to wish all of our family, friends and clients a Blessed Thanksgiving. Our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday so our employees can celebrate with their families.

Please check to make sure that you have your travel kits in the vehicles and have shovels and snowblowers tuned up as it sounds like Mother Nature is going to give us a little snow this coming weekend and the temps are going to drop.
