~Severe Weather Outbreak Sunday-Sunday Night (Update)~
After taking a deep dive into surface analysis and continued model consistency, I upgraded portions of IA, SD, and NE to a level four risk out of five. Remember, I always have made my own forecasts. Initially between 4:00 and 8:00 pm, there will be a strong tornado risk, as well as isolated hailstones up to baseball size. As storms congeal together, an organized, intense squall line is expected through the evening. Widespread damaging wind gusts of 58+ mph and scattered hurricane force wind gusts (74+ mph) is likely into the overnight hours. No hype, these storms will be intense in a very unstable environment. Please be prepared! We will have updates this evening.
