It’s a tradition that runs in my family. My dad coached me through grade school.

Nothing is more exciting to see my kids grow and develop on and off the field.

And all too often we end up at Munchies for Ice Cream.

Big day today.
After months of construction, I brought the final receipts and invoices to City Hall and officially closed out our downtown restoration application for our new office in Sioux Center.

A special thank you to Kris and the city staff for making the process straightforward and easy to navigate. From the beginning, our goal was to create a space that is ADA accessible, visually appealing, and built with the help of local contractors.

As I handed in the paperwork today, I couldn't help but reflect on how many talented people contributed to this project. We are blessed to have so many skilled contractors and craftsmen right here in our community. Thank you for helping turn our vision into reality.

I also want to thank everyone involved in reviewing and processing the grant applications. Even though our application was one of the last submitted, we were the first project completed and closed out.

This project reminded me why I love doing business in Sioux Center. The support, professionalism, and community spirit here are second to none.

What an incredible place to own a business.

Special day today for me.

We donated to the Wegman-Koele Post 380 American Legion

My Grandpa was a proud hull legion member and a true American patriot.

The legion was raising money for a freedom rock to be put up and painted in hull.

I’m sure it would bring a smile to grandpa Bakker face.

Walk ins are welcome.

I was nervous if I’m honest moving to a new location. But if the last weeks are any barometer to what life is like at 308 N main we’ve made the right choice.

The walk in traffic has been non stop.

This week we learned how our first year as a State Farm agency went
I was honored to receive a #3 jersey recognizing our performance among new agents last year.
While awards are nice, I'm most thankful for our customers who trusted us, our team who works hard every day, and God's blessings throughout this journey.

Starting a new agency comes with plenty of challenges, but looking back on year one, I'm grateful for how far we've come. Feeling very blessed and excited for what lies ahead.
