His other interests include hiking, foraging for wild foods, archery and shooting sports, gourmet cooking and ingredients, and playing jazz piano. He lives in Vancouver, WA with his lovely wife, Linda, and their lazy cat Bob. Although familiar with all mortgage products, his military service and desire to help fellow veterans with their goals of home ownership have made VA loans his primary focus. His years of active-duty service taught him the value of honor and integrity, and the drive to find solutions in the face of challenge.
