Think You Know Football? Join our Pick-Em Contest!

Eagle fans — it’s time to test your football smarts! The Silver Lake Eagle Beacon and Schwarz Investment Partners are teaming up to bring you this Football Pick-Em Contest again this season.

Each week, players 18+ will have the chance to prove their football knowledge and win cash prizes, all while following their favorite teams.

Here’s how it works:
Weekly Picks: Each week, a Google quiz link will be published in the Eagle Beacon with all the games you’ll need to pick. We’ll include Big East League matchups, college games, and NFL action.

Deadline: Submit entries by 5:00 pm each Friday. Entries after 5 pm will not be scored.

Tiebreaker: If two or more entries tie, the winner will be decided by who comes closest to predicting the total combined score of the weekly tiebreaker game.

Weekly Winner: The top picker each week wins $25, courtesy of Schwarz Investment Partners. Winners can pick up their prize at 323 Railroad, or have it mailed if they live outside Shawnee County.

Season-Long Prize: Each week’s score will accumulate throughout the football season. At the end, the overall winner will take home a $100 grand prize!

Who can play? Anyone 18+ with an email address can enter — one entry per email each week. Email addresses will be collected for contest purposes only and will not be sold or shared outside of Schwarz Investment Partners and the Eagle Beacon.

Winners will be announced every Monday in the Eagle Beacon — so you’ll know if your bragging rights (and prize money!) are secured.

So grab your good luck charm, trust your gut, and get ready to play. Who knows? The best picker in Eagle Country just might be you!
