Be aware of this new scam!

Reports have been made of customers being contacted from what appears to be a bank. The caller claims to be part of the "Treasury Department" at the bank and tells the customer they have large ACH transactions attempting to go through. They try to get the customer to log on to their internet banking through a fake website, giving the scammer access to their online banking credentials.

Remember:
The bank will not call and ask you to log in to your internet banking.
Trust your instincts. If something seems off, hang up and call the bank directly.

Whether you work from the office or work from home, you should always use the same precautions when it comes to cybersecurity. Your device is only as secure as the applications you run on it. Follow these tips to keep yourself safe in the workplace and at home:

🔔Only use your work devices for work
🔔Use a complex password for your home internet connection
🔔Watch for piggybacking and tailgating in the workplace
🔔Find a private workspace when working from home
🔔Always lock your computer when you step away from your desk
🔔Never click a link that you weren't expecting
🔔When in doubt, contact the sender of an email directly to confirm any request, link, or attachment is legitimate.

Always stay diligent with good cybersecurity practices, no matter where you are working from!

You receive an email receipt that appears to be from PayPal. It looks like you’ve sent a large payment for a subscription that you don’t recognize. It tells you to call the phone number in the email within 12 hours if you would like to dispute the charge.

🛑STOP🛑 This number is fake and will connect you to a cyber criminal who will try to get your personal and financial information.

➡️Always call PayPal directly using a verified phone number
➡️Pay attention to the urgency. Criminals use this tactic to trick you
