Today, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you to Red River Missionary Baptist Church for allowing me to serve as your guest speaker for Youth Sunday. It was truly an honor to stand before you.

A very special thank you to Pastor Billy Johnson Jr. my classmate and my brother in Christ. Thank you for helping me answer the call, for making room for me, and for trusting me with your pulpit. That means more than I can put into words.

Even though I speak publicly often, there is never a time that I’m not a little nervous. And this Sunday was no different. I kept waiting on God to give me the message ahead of time… and it didn’t come. I worried. I wondered what I was going to say. But when I arrived, the Lord downloaded the message directly into my spirit. And when He did, I knew exactly what needed to be spoken.

As always, I spoke from my heart.
Your church family gave me a safe place to step into this next part of my ministry journey. You allowed me to be transparent. You allowed me to be obedient. You allowed me to grow. For that, I am forever grateful.

Coming back home to my Bossier family meant everything. When Pastor said, “Come on home,” I felt that. And I look forward to continuing to serve with you all not just as a speaker, but as a mentor, as a servant, and as someone committed to being an active part of what God is doing through this ministry.

Thank you for covering me. Thank you for supporting me. And most of all, thank You, God, for trusting me with the assignment.

My heart is full. 💛

Today marks 9 years in the insurance and financial services industry! 🎉

On Valentine’s Day 2017, I passed my exam and officially began this journey and I had no idea how much it would change my life.

I’m seeing this way too often lately 👀
