Big mortgage announcement today for Conventional loans you should be aware of.....

If you were thinking about buying a second/vacation home you’re probably going to want to do that Now!

Conventional loans on second/vacation homes closing on April 1 2022 and beyond will have a major pricing hit of as high as 4.125 points.

To summarize, this means an increase of 0.5%-1.5% interest rate or closing costs that can be thousands more.

This is goes into effect after 4/1/2022. So lenders will probably start factoring this into their interest rates in mid February for 30 day locks.
