What It’s Like to Work With Me
Buying a home can feel overwhelming — especially if it’s your first time, you’re buying in a rural area, or you’ve been told “no” before.
Before mortgage lending, I spent over 10 years as a mental health therapist. That background fundamentally shapes how I work as a loan officer.
What makes working with me different isn’t just the loan programs — it’s the experience:
• I help you slow the process down when emotions or pressure run high
• I explain why an option works or doesn’t, not just what you “qualify” for
• I focus on long-term financial and emotional outcomes, not quick approvals
• I’m comfortable saying no if a loan puts you in a worse position later
I’m based in Shelton, WA, and I serve homebuyers throughout Mason County, helping clients navigate VA, FHA, USDA, conventional loans, and down payment assistance with care, empathy, and integrity.
Not every loan is a good loan — and I believe it’s my responsibility to tell you the difference.
My goal isn’t to push you to closing — it’s to help you make a decision you feel confident about long after the paperwork is signed.
