More wildfires are popping up in our area, and this season is scary for all of us. Please take a few minutes to walk through your home and record a video of your belongings—it can make a huge difference if you ever need to file a claim.
Make sure you have your important documents, medications, a “go bag,” and pet supplies ready in case you need to evacuate quickly.
If you are ordered to evacuate by the fire department, that may trigger your Loss of Use coverage on your homeowners or renters policy. This can help cover hotel stays and meals while you're displaced.
