Sometimes great service means slowing down, listening, and helping someone feel confident with something new.

A member recently visited our Shelton branch after having trouble using Zelle on his new smartphone. After years of relying on a flip phone, smartphone banking felt unfamiliar and frustrating.

Cal patiently helped him set up Zelle, troubleshoot the payment process, and successfully receive the funds he was waiting for. But the support didn’t stop there. Cal also walked him through basic smartphone functions, helped him navigate email, and showed him how to use the Peninsula Credit Union mobile app.

By the time the member left, he felt more comfortable, more confident, and more in control.

That’s the Peninsula difference: practical help, patient education, and care that meets people where they are.

WOW Story: A first membership is more than opening an account, it’s the beginning of a financial journey.

Recently, a family visited our Port Orchard branch to help their adult granddaughter become a Peninsula Credit Union member. Matt had worked with the family before, and they wanted her to experience the same trusted support as she started building her own financial future.

Matt helped guide her through opening her membership, establishing a Visa account, and learning about options available through our First-Time Auto Buyer Program.

The PCU crew had a blast at this year’s Mason County Forest Festival parade! 🍋🌲

We loved handing out candy, serving up cold lemonade, and seeing so many smiling faces along the parade route. And of course, Penny made an appearance — because what’s a parade without Penny?
