Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Sheila Peelen

Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Sheila Peelen Offering customized financial planning and coaching to individuals and businesses who are dedicated to improving their financial lives and those around them.

Have you ever watched a loved one struggle financially, and wish you could have done something to prevent it? I have. That is why I became a financial advisor. I believe being a steward of our finances goes much deeper than balancing a checkbook. It includes helping organize your financial situation so you can be confident you will reach your goals, have the ability to bless those around us and cr

eate a better future for your families. To best serve you, I need to understand what is most important to you. This allows me to give the best advice that will organize, protect and manage your assets properly. I use an established process with each client to develop a customized strategy for your unique situation. In 2015 I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor and opened the second branch office in Sheldon. Today, my team and I serve the greater Sheldon area from two branch locations to serve you with the personalized service you expect and deserve. Building relationships throughout the community and with my clients is something I hold dearly. The Sheldon community offers many wonderful organizations, some of which I am blessed to be a part of. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University in 2005. After graduation I then jumped into the financial industry, realizing my deep-rooted desire to help people learn about their finances and become financially successful. As a continual student of the business, I have continued to expand my knowledge through several designations and credentials. In June of 2021 I obtained my Accredited Asset Manager Specialist (AAMS) credential; then I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) professional through the Kaplan College of Financial Planning in December of 2023. My family (husband, Brett and two sons, Koby and Parker) and I have lived on the Peelen family farm since 2007. Since 1918, each generation has been entrusted to care for the farm and I look forward to passing this responsibility down to our children one day. Together, we love to spend time camping, hiking, and watching movies. Plus, we all love to travel! My Branch Office Administrator, Barbara Besaw, and I provide a highly personalized service and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your unique situation. Face-to-face meetings build strong, lasting relationships, which is our goal here at Edward Jones. Please contact the office by calling 712-324-2900 or emailing [email protected] to schedule an appointment to discuss your finances and review your options. I look forward to meeting you!
