🚨 “YEAH, I’VE GOT FULL COVERAGE.” 🚨

Me: “Okay… what does that mean?”

Them: 😐 “Uhh… you know… FULL coverage.”

😂

I hear this ALL THE TIME.

Here’s the problem: “Full coverage” isn’t actually a coverage. There’s no magical button on your policy that says “Cover Everything.”

I didn't know this until getting into insurance, but your auto policy is made up of different coverages, limits, and deductibles, and those details matter a LOT when something goes wrong.

You could be paying for “full coverage” and still have:
🚗 Lower liability limits than you realize
💥 Deductibles you weren't aware of
🙋‍♂️ Little or no uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage
🏥 Limited medical payments coverage
…and other gaps you may not know about.

❤️ September is Life Insurance Awareness Month.

It's not necessarily the most exciting topic to talk about, but it's one of the most important conversations you can have with the people you love.

Life insurance isn't really about you.

It's about making sure your spouse, kids, or loved ones aren't left trying to figure out how to pay the mortgage, replace your income, cover final expenses, or maintain the life you've worked so hard to build if something happens to you.

And you don't have to be wealthy, married, or have kids for life insurance to make sense. Your needs can change throughout different stages of life.

A good question to ask yourself this month is:

"If something happened to me tomorrow, would the people who depend on me be financially okay?"

With summer winding down and everyone getting back into their normal routines, it's easy to forget about the things we don't think about every day — including our insurance.

A few things worth checking:

✅ Have you bought or sold a vehicle recently?
✅ Has anyone in your household started driving?
✅ Have you made any major home improvements?
✅ Has the value of your home or belongings changed?
✅ Have you added a boat, ATV, camper, or other recreational vehicle?
✅ Has anything changed financially that might make an umbrella or life insurance review worthwhile?

You don't necessarily need to change anything. Sometimes a quick review just gives you peace of mind that your coverage still matches your life.
