Meet Amber Burnett, a valued member of the First Commerce Bank team since 2020. Amber’s favorite part of helping customers is building real relationships. Many of her customers have become friends, and she takes the trust they place in her seriously when helping with some of life’s biggest purchases and investments. Amber understands that money can be a sensitive topic, and she values being someone customers feel comfortable calling or texting when they need support.

Amber is proud to work at First Commerce Bank in Murfreesboro, especially because local decisions are still made by people who know and care about the community. She appreciates the bank’s great leadership, kind employees, and the ability for customers to reach a real person who understands what’s going on. Outside of work, Amber loves spending time with her husband and daughter, whether they are trying a new restaurant, shopping, or heading to the lake, beach, or pool. She especially enjoys the outdoors during the summer months.

We are proud to celebrate a special moment for one of our own, Renee Yoes, VP at our Shelbyville Branch!

Please join us in congratulating the Yoes family, especially Viqueen Brooklyn Yoes, on an incredible achievement. Community High School Viqueens made history by winning their first TSSAA Class 2A Softball State Championship, defeating Marion County 🥎🥎🥎

This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we could not be more excited for Renee and her family. Hard work, dedication, and team spirit truly paid off!

Congratulations to the entire Community High School softball team on bringing home the championship!

Meet Jake Sorrells, a valued member of the First Commerce Bank team who takes pride in building meaningful relationships with the people in our community. As a Loan Officer at our Fayetteville Branch for the past year, Jake enjoys getting to know customers, growing alongside them as they reach their financial goals, and being part of their journey. He especially values the welcoming, family-like environment at the bank, where coworkers support one another and customers feel comfortable enough to stop in and chat like family.

Jake often encourages customers to start saving and planning early for their child’s financial future, helping build a strong foundation for long-term success. He also gives back by supporting local businesses whenever he can, especially the local restaurants he jokes that he helps keep busy. Outside of work, Jake loves spending time outdoors, traveling to new places to hunt and fish, and enjoying summer days at the river with family and friends. Meet Cindy Ruark, a valued member of the First Commerce Bank team who enjoys talking with customers and building strong rapport. She appreciates the personal connections that come from helping people day to day and making sure they feel welcome and supported when they visit the Cornersville Road branch. Cindy is proud to work for a bank that maintains a strong teller presence, something she knows customers truly appreciate.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her grandsons and family, taking beach trips, and working with her German Shepherds. Cindy celebrates her 1 year work anniversary with First Commerce Bank next week. Her friendly approach and dedication to customer care make her a wonderful addition the FCB family!
