Meet Barbie Farrow, a Customer Service Representative who has been a valued part of First Commerce Bank in Shelbyville since 2017. Barbie’s favorite part of her role is building relationships and making a positive difference in customers’ lives. She enjoys listening to customers, understanding their needs, and helping find solutions that make banking easier and less stressful. Whether she is answering a question or resolving an issue, Barbie finds it rewarding to know she has helped make someone’s day a little better.

Barbie often reminds customers of the importance of checking their bank accounts regularly. Reviewing transactions can help identify unauthorized charges or suspicious activity quickly, allowing the bank to help protect accounts and minimize potential losses. She is proud to be part of a team that puts people first through a genuine commitment to customers, the community, and one another.

Outside of work, Barbie loves spending time and making memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys traveling, especially relaxing beach trips, reading a good book, and cooking with her husband, whether they are trying a new recipe or preparing a family favorite.

Meet Paige Isley, a valued member of First Commerce Bank’s Loan Department since 2023. Paige takes great pride in ensuring each loan is completed correctly and efficiently, knowing how important these decisions are to customers and their financial well-being. Although her role does not always involve direct customer contact, Paige cherishes every opportunity to interact with customers and works hard behind the scenes to make sure they feel comfortable, valued, and well served throughout the loan process.

Paige encourages customers to always call the bank if they are uncertain about anything related to their accounts, because the First Commerce Bank team is here to help in every way possible. She is grateful to work in an environment where she has felt supported, welcomed, and encouraged to grow since day one. Paige describes her coworkers as a true work family and feels blessed to work alongside such caring people. Outside of work, Paige enjoys antique shopping, taking spontaneous trips with her husband, spending time with her animals, cooking out with family, riding Razors, and making memories with her nieces, Ainsley, Maddie, and Olivia, who she says mean the world to her!

Meet Courtney McCormick, a valued employee at First Commerce Bank since 2016. Courtney, who works in our Bookkeeping Department, enjoys helping customers get answers when something on their account does not look right. She especially likes the “detective work” of researching an unfamiliar charge and helping customers understand exactly what happened. Courtney takes pride in helping people feel more confident and informed about their accounts.

One piece of advice Courtney often shares is simple: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. She encourages customers to be cautious when using debit cards on Facebook, making online purchases that require wire transfers, or responding to high-pressure offers for vehicles or other items priced far below market value. Courtney is proud of First Commerce Bank’s involvement in the community and the way team members take care of one another. Outside of work, she enjoys camping with her family and spending time with friends around the campground.

We’re growing to serve you even better! First Commerce Bank is proud to announce the completion and opening of our new Operations Center in Lewisburg.

Please join us for a ribbon-cutting celebration on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 9:00 am, as we mark this exciting milestone for our bank, our team, and the communities we serve.

Our new 17,704-square-foot Operations Center provides expanded space designed to improve communication, efficiency, and collaboration as First Commerce Bank continues to grow.

Renovations are also underway across our Lewisburg campus to create an even stronger workplace for the employees who serve our customers every day.

Thank you to our customers for your trust, support, and patience throughout this project. We look forward to continuing to serve you for many years to come!
