We are still a very young company, and see this award--especially this global award--as an incredible validation of our approach. Independent bottling has existed in Scotland for almost 200 years and has long played a key role in the Scotch whisky ecosystem. But it never made sense in the U.S. until recently, and we have been one of the first to go for it. This award celebrates our approach and our adaptation of this historic business model to the United States market and to the 21st century. And that means a lot, especially coming from such a prestigious Scotch whisky magazine.
