Six months later, we’re still thinking about the people who made our 2026 Annual Meeting so meaningful.

Our 2026 Annual Meeting brought the Everyday Heroes theme to life as we celebrated the people who make First United what it is. We’re grateful to our inspiring speakers, Lt Col Dan Rooney founder of Folds of Honor and best-selling author John O'Leary for sharing their stories and perspectives with us.

We’re excited to partner with Southeastern Oklahoma State University on the new FUSE program, creating opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience while exploring what a career in banking can look like.
We’re looking forward to learning alongside these talented students and helping build meaningful pathways from the classroom to the workplace. We’re grateful to be part of a program that invests in the next generation of professionals.

This partnership will provide John Massey School of Business students with paid, discipline-specific professional experience at FUB while creating a direct pathway to full-time employment following graduation.

This year’s School Supplies Drive brought people across Oklahoma and Texas together to help students and teachers start the school year with the tools they need to learn and succeed.

Thank you to the generosity of our customers, employees, and community partners, 50,825 school supply items were collected, surpassing the original goal of 30,000. That's more than 500 classrooms impacted!

Every donation, big or small, helped make a difference for a student, a teacher, and a classroom.

Supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of children and families is something we're proud to do.

We had a great time at the Child Advocacy Center's inaugural Shootin' for Justice fundraiser! From trick riding to boot scootin', it was a fun evening celebrating an incredible mission and the people who work every day to bring hope, healing, and justice to children in our community.
