PSA: If you have a survey taken of your property, please record it with the Registrar of Deeds at the courthouse. They are located across from the Property Assessor. It only costs $17. You must take one of the signed originals your surveyor gave you. The surveyor does not file this important document for you. In case of a property line dispute, or even just property next to you selling, having your property lines on record can keep you from losing part of your property if another surveyor draws a different line, encroaching on your property. It can save you some anxiety, too! My surveyor, Mike Suttles, said to let everyone I know that they should do this...so I just did!
