Deuteronomy 28:6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

What does it mean to be blessed going in? When you are at the beginning of a new thing that God is doing in your life, whether it be the start of a new career, family or simply a new beginning - God wants to bless you.

Yet, we often overlook that He does indeed want to see us succeed. He asks that we follow His word and the statutes He has set for our lives. The guiding, moral factors that we need to use to guide our life. We often allow ourselves to fail and then blame God for it. However, we also tend to set ourselves up for that failure by thinking we don’t deserve to be blessed (for whatever reason.)

When you come to a personal relationship with Christ, you are forgiven. But for some reason, even though God forgives us, we find it hardest to forgive ourselves and build a new life in Him.

Be encouraged today. You are worthy of not only God’s love and forgiveness, but your own too. Allow yourself to be blessed not only coming in and going out, but with every step you take.

Every day is a fresh start. Walk in His Love.❤️

We live in a world that is filled with confusion and dismay. It is easy to focus on all the things that are wrong, evil, oppressive because that is what the world wants us to focus on.

God, in his infinite wisdom, not only gave us free-will to chose how we want to think and choose to feel but He also wrote it down so we wouldn’t forget what we should be focusing on.

Phillipans 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

We need to remember to focus on things that are above and not below. We can be a light set upon a hill, shining brightly out to this dark and dying world. Sharing our light to bring others to the truth that is the love of Jesus.

Praying that this world won’t get you down, but we can focus on the things that will pull us up.
