Russ Black Insurance was founded in 1965 by Russ and Connie Black. Together they provided insurance coverages to the community from their home in Rockland. After a year, Russ and Connie decided to move to the Seneca area to be more accessible for clients. Then in 1968 Russ Black Insurance rented a two office building located at its current location and in 1973 Russ purchased it. Russ continued to

provide the Seneca area with insurance services and was joined by his son Jeff Black in 1980 and son in law Tom Carothers, in 1985. In order to better service our clients, in 1990 plans began to build additional office space on to the building and construction ended in 1992. Presently, Russ Black Insurance employs 8 team members that provide friendly knowledgeable advice on all insurance services. With 5 licensed agent available, clients are given a one-on-one consultation with a local agent. At Russ Black Insurance we aim to provide superior personalized coverage at the most affordable price so that you can protect what matters to you most.
