What this means is that on primary residence purchased and own moving forward, that are a persons homesteaded property (which means primary home tax exempted) will get an additional exemption up to 250k of assessed value on your ad volerem tax bill. I’m sorry real estate agents, but I question you’re negotiating power when my clients can’t win a bid on a home that’s been on the market for 8 months that is simple asking of full list and 3% concessions and the sellers are clearing 220k on a home they bought in 2015 for 140k? Nonsense to me.

World is on fire around us economically but the deals are still flowing. We do need to see a break though. My suggestion to everyone pre approved….”GET UNDER CONTRACT NOW”!! Probably hit 7-8 closings for June individually which would be close to a career best and still have 15-20 pre approvals. More coming daily. But folks need to speed it up, lock it down. Despite the Bond and Rate Market not being very nice to us over the past week, contracts and pre-approvals continue to poor in. People are finding value in purchasing homes and coming to grips with the rate market as it is. 3 New Contracts incoming over the weekend and 3 new pre-approvals.
