🚨 Public Warning: Alleged Charity Scam 🚨

The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of a scam beginning around March 2026 in which Lisa Miculka allegedly approached citizens in Guadalupe County offering to sell BBQ plates to benefit a neighbor whose son was killed in a motorcycle collision. Individuals who paid never received the food, and the family of the deceased did not receive any of the money collected.

Miculka has a documented history of similar activity. She was previously arrested by Seguin Police for selling fake raffle tickets while claiming the proceeds would go to charity. Records also show numerous arrests and convictions for offenses including forgery and theft of property by deception.

❗Do not give money to Lisa Miculka for any reason.❗

If you believe you were scammed by Lisa Miculka, please contact the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office and make a report with a Deputy. Providing this information will help us more accurately track the number of victims and the potential dollar amount involved.

On June 20, 2017, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for GONZALEZ-BARAHONA’s arrest for Murder. On July 6, 2017, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Kidnapping.
