I had a gentleman referred to me recently by a local clinic when he had found out the insurance he had been paying for was not exactly the insurance the sales person he had spoke to on the phone described to him during the sales process.
This poor gentleman was distraught and he knew he had been dupped, he needed to vent so he paced around my office, I asked him for his insurance card, and who his agent was and he said, someone, in some country, in some closet, calling hundreds of people, on a phone that only calls out and that doesn't receive calls.
And unfortunately I'd like to say this is uncommon but it isn't. Almost daily our office fields calls and meetings from people who got messed up by as he put it so eloquently someone, in some country, in some closet, calling hundreds of people, on a phone that only calls out and that doesn't receive calls.
So friends, please, please, please don't take insurance advise from anyone who is not recommended or at a local agency you can walk into.
I tell people all the time, those call center agents operate from a position of power with plausible deniability. If they do you wrong you'll never talk to them again. They got your money, you were a number and they were quickly off to their next victim.
I work in a brick and mortar building and have a reputation to uphold, if I were to do people wrong word would get around and if I did them bad enough they could come straight to my office and kick me in the shins, but I like my clients, my reputation and hate pain, So I do my absolute best to do what's right for every client every time so my reputation remains great and my shins remain pain free! you can come see me, and kick me in the shin
