Please help me congratulate this week’s (and 3-PETE), Bryan Jenkins State Farm Athlete of the Week, Hannah Lowman. Hannah, a 2- sport (Golf, softball) Smith-cotton high school senior has again been a force on the golf course...

According to Coach Craig Harvey, “Hannah has had an outstanding season and high school golf career. She has been a leader for our team, and this season has medaled in every tournament she has competed in with top 5 finishes in six of our eight events including a 1st place and three 2nd place finishes. Hannah also earned 1st team All-Conference, All-District team and State Qualifier for her third consecutive year.”

In addition to two sports, Hannah is Senior Class President, a member of SPIZ, SCUFFL, National Honor Society, the Math Team and of course, maintains straight A’s.

Upon graduation this spring, Hanna will play golf in college while pursuing a Pre-Med (OBGYN) degree.

Hannah, best of luck at Rivercut this Monday & Tuesday, the rest of the year and in ALL you do. PROUD OF YOU and your hard work...keep it up.

Please help me congratulate this week’s 3-PEAT Bryan Jenkins State Farm Athlete of the Week, Jaxon Twenter.

Jaxon, a Jr. Sacred Heart High School 3-sport athlete (soccer, basketball, golf) lit up the soccer field this week. According to Coach, Connor Bandre, “Jaxon has turned into a staple in our midfield and plays a huge role in our success.
Jaxon scored the game winning golden goal in double OT to send the team into the Kaysinger Conference championship game this Friday!”

In addition to keeping busy with three sports, Jaxon is a member of the Key Club, Jr Class treasurer and of course maintains “A” Honor Roll status.

Upon graduation, Jaxon will pursue an apprenticeship to become a Lineman

Jaxon, so proud of you and your hard work. Best of luck at the Conference Championship tonight, the rest of the season and in all you do.

Please help me congratulate this week’s Bryan Jenkins State Farm Athlete of the Week, Sr. Smith-Cotton High School, 2-Sport athlete (Cross Country & Track), Eli Holiway.

According to Coach David Holiway , “On Saturday, September 26th, he competed at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, MO. He led the SC XC Boys Varsity Team to its best ever finish there (14th/39 in the Blue Division), despite the team missing it’s #3 and #4 runners. Elijah ran a fantastic individual performance, setting a new personal record of 16:57 over the 5k distance — which is the fastest time by any SC athlete since Alex Beard in 2018. He finished last week by leading the Boys XC Team to a victory at Camdenton. His time (17:00) was impressive, but, more impressive was his leadership — shown through training, leading by example, and motivation. Three SC boys followed Eli across the line between 17:01 and 17:04 — all personal bests for them — and that secured the team victory.”

In addition to being a leader in athletics, Eli is a leader in the classroom by maintaining straight A’s!

Although graduation is several months away, Eli plans to run in college (undecided where) while pursuing a degree in Finance & Business management.

Eli, congratulations on your HARD WORK & DETERMINATION. Best of luck on the rest of the season and school year.
