More than 100 Corvettes will be cruising into Highlands County for the Family Resource Provider Fair on Saturday, April 25, in the JCPenney parking lot at Lakeshore Mall, 901 U.S. 27 N., Sebring.
The Tampa Bay Possee Corvettes, who will lead the parade of sports cars to Highlands County, are returning to Sebring to once again show their support of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. The Corvettes invaded Highlands County in 2023 to participate in the Pinwheels 4 Kids event and will return once again.
The parade of Corvettes will go through Avon Park down U.S. 27 at 8 a.m. to arrive at Lakeshore Mall around 8:30 a.m. Wear blue that day and stand along U.S. 27 to wave and welcome the drivers. Then come on down to the Mall to enjoy the show.
There will be FREE food, drinks, children activities, music by Harry Havery, educational information, drawings and giveaways. Bring a lawn chair.
This is all being done in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. No child should have to experience abuse so let's pull together as a community and bring happiness and joy for the children.
We’ve added a link below to possibly help get you to the appropriate place to apply on getting in the parade and where it will start in Avon Park.
