El Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana 2026 comienza el 15 de septiembre y se extenderá hasta el 15 de octubre en Estados Unidos. La conmemoración reconoce la historia, las culturas y las aportaciones de generaciones de hispanos y latinos al país.

Este año, el lema seleccionado por el Consejo Nacional de Administradores del Programa de Empleo Hispano es “Unidos, somos más”, una invitación a destacar la fuerza colectiva de comunidades diversas que comparten raíces en América Latina, el Caribe y España.

National Hispanic Heritage Month 2026 starts on September 15 and will run until October 15 in the United States. The celebration recognizes the history, cultures, and contributions of generations of Hispanics and Latinos to the country.

This year, the slogan chosen by the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Administrators is “Together, we are stronger,” an invitation to highlight the collective strength of diverse communities with roots in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.

Earlier this month, the RVCDF team gathered for our annual staff retreat to reflect on our impact, review our goals for 2027, and refine our long-term strategy.

We spent three focused days diving into strategic planning alongside our consultants and partners, aligning our internal workflows, and ensuring our team is equipped to continue expanding support for local small businesses and neighborhood developments.

Of course, no team retreat is complete without some fun: We wrapped up our time together with a little friendly competition at the bowling alley! 🎳

We are returning energized, aligned, and ready to keep pushing our mission forward. 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the RVCDF table during the White Center Block Party!

It was incredible to see 16th Ave SW come alive with local vendors, street food, art exhibits, live wrestling, and performances from groups like the Neon Brass Party and CHIKIRI & The School of TAIKO.

Our team loved connecting with neighbors, business owners, and visitors throughout the day. Events like this highlight the vibrant culture and strong entrepreneurial spirit that makes our local corridors so special.
