Yesterday I had the honor (and fun!) of speaking at The Spokane Women’s Summit with Dr. Wade Larson. We led a great discussion about the Superpowers women bring to the workplace. We also talked about why we hold back and how to master our Superpowers so that we show up as ourselves - able to contribute at our best.

We also talked about Suiting Up! It’s crucial to get in the right mindset for the work day, the big project, the finalist meeting, etc. That may look different for everyone. For me, it’s wearing red heels which always make me feel ready to take on what ever comes my way and a playlist worthy of that walk down the carpet into an MMA octagon!

Red heels and the playlist are my version of the cape. What’s YOUR cape?

The first live event happened March 11. The first since 2019! It was all the feels! Smiling faces, engaging speakers and friends - old and new. I was proud (and nervous!) to emcee the day.

I made a goal in 2021 to get involved in this community thinking I could help them. What I discovered through getting to know THEM is that their perspectives and skills and invitation for me to join them was really a HUGE blessing to me as I worked solo at home for SO LONG.

pros have been through a lot the last couple of years. They have leaned on each other. If you aren't a member, why the heck not? This wonderful community needs you (and you need them)!
