Garrison's Home is more than a furniture store—it's a story of resilience and community dedication. The roots of Garrison's stretch back to 2007 when Brian Garrison bought his father's established antique furniture store to continue the family business. He steered the vision toward more than just a retail outlet, aiming to create a brand that truly connected with the community.

Their journey wasn't without challenges. The devastating Almeda fire in 2020 destroyed one of their retail locations, but ultimately led to the creation of their dream building—a symbol of hope rising from adversity. Garrison's Home worked with Evergreen Business Capital and First Interstate Bank as lending partners to construct the new building utilizing the SBA 504 Loan Program.

Garrison's Home isn't solely about furniture. Their core belief prioritizes the community above all else. Their impact spans beyond sales, with over two million dollars given back to the community through initiatives like food drives, supporting local students, and sponsoring youth baseball teams. Garrison's Home operates as a family, a culture inspired by Brian's experiences at companies like Disney and Hyatt. This family-oriented environment encourages growth, evident in employees who've worked up from sales roles to leadership positions over the years.

Looking ahead, Brian envisions growth while staying grounded in mindful expansion. His approach anticipates uncertain economic times but holds optimism for positively impacting more lives. Garrison's Home has proven to be a vital part of their local community, and they intend to continue supporting Southern Oregon as it grows and expands.

Crepe Legend embodies the spirit of innovation and fusion cuisine. Opened in June 2021 by owner Robert, a seasoned chef with a passion for diverse flavors and textures, Crepe Legend utilized Evergreen Business Capital Community Finance's services to secure working capital through Washington State's Flex Fund Loan Program.

Robert's inspiration stems from his experience, which includes managing fine dining restaurants and cooking for luxury hotels, on top of his formal culinary education. He noticed the lack of fusion cuisine outside major cities like LA and New York, and a market for quality, on-the-go meals. This realization led to the creation of crepe burritos, a delightful blend of Asian and Mexican influences, with a specialized crepe batter recipe developed in-house to make them substantial enough to hold fillings, without sacrificing deliciousness.

Crepe Legend's story is one of resilience and creativity. With sweet dessert crepes, savory crepe burritos, salads, and rice bowls, they have carved out a niche that has won over the community's tastebuds. Stationed in South Center Mall, Crepe Legend persevered when their long-planned grand opening landed during the pandemic. However, they are now gearing up to open a second location.
