We were thrilled to once again support Home Together's Oktoberfest Family Dinner, supporting families navigating long-term care at Seattle Children’s Hospital. It was an evening of laughs, tears, traditional Oktoberfest outfits, and a wave of support for the amazing work done by this organization to provide families with a home through their most challenging times. We’re proud to be a founding partner of Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle High School's (CRJS) Corporate Work Study Program, which places students in corporate work environments during their high school tenure while breaking down barriers to private education costs.

This year, we welcomed George to the Seattle Bank Human Resources and Administrative team, where he’s gained real-world experience being an effective collaborator while learning important skills and life lessons in financial literacy, service, and beyond. "Working at Seattle Bank has been a great learning experience and has helped me explore what I might want to do in the future,” said George.

George is one of the only students in the Corporate Work Study Program who will continue to work with his employer for the summer.

Seattle Bank is thankful to Cristo Rey for the opportunity to support the next generation of scholars and young professionals by introducing them to the workplace.

The Seattle Bank team put their business investor hats on as they joined Achievement of Washington for a "Shark Tank" style event! They and a panel of judges provided feedback to middle and high school students who presented business pitches they had been working on all summer. The goal was to give the students the drive to work on their pitches for a real business opportunity or grow from it with an entrepreneurial spirit.
