40+ years of experience in the investment business. He is a CFA charter holder, and a Chartered Investment Counselor through the Investment Advisor Association. From 1983-2005, he was Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Pasadena Capital Corp. John co-managed the research/portfolio management department from 1983 to 1998. During his tenure, assets under management had grown from $160 million to over $5 billion by the time the firm was sold to Phoenix Companies in 1997. From 2005 to 2011, John consulted on client portfolio strategy and business development to a team of financial advisors in Orange County, CA. Thereafter, JSTIC was created and he had a similar role for client portfolios for the first few years. John is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA degree focused on Real Estate and a MBA degree in Finance. We operate on a diversified platform, whether for investment management or financial planning. An initial complimentary consultation will explain our firm’s philosophy and start the process of tailoring our services specifically to you.
