20+ years of experience in the investment advisory services industry. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, and an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor through the College for Financial Planning. As a previous financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial for 10 years, Jeff successfully co-managed and serviced approximately $220 million of client investment assets before starting JST Investment Consulting, Inc. Jeff is the lead client advisor and business development manager for JST. He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with dual business degrees focused on Finance, Real Estate and Law, along with Management Information Systems. Tilson, MBA, CFA®, CIC®

40+ years of experience in the investment business. He is a CFA charter holder, and a Chartered Investment Counselor through the Investment Advisor Association. From 1983-2005, he was Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Pasadena Capital Corp. John co-managed the research/portfolio management department from 1983 to 1998. During his tenure, assets under management had grown from $160 million to over $5 billion by the time the firm was sold to Phoenix Companies in 1997. From 2005 to 2011, John consulted on client portfolio strategy and business development to a team of financial advisors in Orange County, CA. Thereafter, JSTIC was created and he had a similar role for client portfolios for the first few years. John is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA degree focused on Real Estate and a MBA degree in Finance. We operate on a diversified platform, whether for investment management or financial planning. An initial complimentary consultation will explain our firm’s philosophy and start the process of tailoring our services specifically to you. JST is not compensated by 3rd party investment product companies and only provides advice on investment guidance and/or management best suited for each individual client.
