Scranton BK5K

Scranton BK5K The annual BK5K, 5 kilometer road race and walk, is held to honor Bob Kierlin, founder of Fastenal Company and lifelong supporter of youth programs.

All proceeds go to various area youth organizations/programs demonstrating financial need.

Packet pickup options and race day schedule are ready—make sure you’re prepared!

Packet pickup is on Saturday August 8th from 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM.
The race and packet pickup location is at Nay Aug Park, 500 Arthur Ave, Scranton, PA 18510

The race day schedule is as follows:
• 6:30-7:30 AM - Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration
• 8:00 AM - 5K Race / 1.5K Fun Walk Starts
• 8:30 AM - Post Race Grab & Go Breakfast
• 9:15 AM - Kids Fun Run Starts

Awards presented after completion of Kids Fun Run

IMPORTANT RACE UPDATE: Due to concerns for the safety of our participants from a potentially dangerous AQI and thunderstorms, the July 18th race is POSTPONED. We are currently working to reschedule the race for August or September. More information will be sent once a new date is secured.
