Suburban Mortgage Inc. is raising money for our 10th Annual Cereal Drive that benefits the Desert Mission Food Bank 4th Street Market. Over the past nine years we have fed at least 275,001 children. This year we have set our fundraising goal at $7,500! There’s still time to donate before our Labor Day Deadline! Statistics in the state of Arizona show that 1 in 3.73 children do not know when or where their next meal will come from. $1 donated helps to feed 7 people! Last year we were able to raise $7,517 in donations that fed 52,619 people one meal.

Have them thoroughly clean the tumbler annually and remove any lint that has gotten trapped inside your dryer to prevent over-heating. Lint is the leading cause of dryer fires! 7 Home Safety Tips While Traveling ✈️

1. Set timers on interior and exterior lights. This goes a long way in deterring burglars!
2. Secure all of the doors and windows by locking them before you leave.
3. Place a hold on all mail, newspapers and deliveries while gone or arrange to have a neighbor pick them up.
4. Store your valuables in a hidden safe or lockbox while you're away.
5. Never leave a hidden or emergency key outside of your home.
6. Install an alarm system if you can. If you already have one, alert your alarm company that you will be out of town.
7. Don't post on social media about your vacation ahead of time, even if you think just friends and family can see your status updates.

And remember - your neighbors are one of your best safety tools while away! Let your trusted neighbors know when you'll be on vacation so that they can also help keep an eye on your house.
