This is my assistant of 12 years, Heather. I call her my #1 because she is my #1 person in so many ways. She is a fantastic person, a wonderful mother, wife, and a Disney enthusiast, and today she became a LICENSED INSURANCE AGENT! Congratulations, my friend! The state just recognized what I've known for 12 years. Love you!

My daughter I are competing in the full Ironman competition on November 24th. It’s a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run. We are doing the race in an effort to raise money for the The Care Fund and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Find out more by watching the video below. The family featured in the video was helped by the Care Fund. She was born with her limbs backward. We filmed this at their very modest house. What a joy to be able to help these families. If I can get everyone I know to donate just $5, we could help a lot of families. Of course, there is a back-story as to the why…isn’t there always! The video tells the story. I'm doing a quote for this classic car, which in 1982 wasn't a classic. My bestfriend, Rebecca had this car and we were glad to have it, but kind of embarrassed. Our 16 year old minds didn't know! Of course there was the noise issue. We would pull into your parking space at high school, open the doors and prepare to bolt. Robbie would turn off the car and then it would sputter, shake and let out a few car backfires for good measure. Ahhh...a walk down memory lane. Robbie, you should have kept it!
