PRAYER WARRIORS: in need of prayers for my Dad - we have been in hospital since Tuesday and symptoms have so quickly progressed that it is unclear what the issue is fully. He has gone into a spinal cord surgery to address the most pressing matter and hopefully we will know more. PLEASE PRAY for him and my mom! Gods will be done!

SU***DE AWARENESS: WHAT CAN YOU DO???

While scrolling social, I saw a friend cry out for help! I don’t know this person personally, just a Social Media friend.

The people who have never first hand felt the demon of su***de (not the ones left behind but the ones who have struggled through) can not understand and provide advise - it does not help the person struggling, it only helps those on the outside to feel better. It makes the person struggling feel more guilt, feel more of a burden, feel worse… which just exacerbates the feeling of hopelessness!

If you haven’t ever felt like committing su***de please just suggest 988 and let the professionals give advise! Just listen and say ”I hear you! I see you!” ***deawarness
