Since 1987, the Social Service Contractors Indemnity Pool (SSCIP) has provided customized, affordable insurance for Arizona social service agencies. SSCIP, which began as one of the only insurance options for Arizona social service providers, has become the preferred source of property and liability insurance protection for the diverse Arizona social services community. Because SSCIP is a Member -owned and -directed pool, SSCIP Member entities have a voice in operations. SSCIP is simply an extension of the Members it serves.
The coverage available through SSCIP meets and, in many cases, exceeds the contractually specified insurance requirements for social service providers to do business with state agencies and with county, city, or regional behavioral health authorities (RBHAs) in Arizona.
In addition to broad, affordable insurance protection, SSCIP Members receive unmatched claims service, training and education, and risk management specifically developed to meet the needs of social and human services organizations.
