The FTC is changing its ruling regarding the definition of the word "diamond." Previously, a diamond had to be mined. Now, lab grown diamonds will qualify. Although the FTC is recommending the words "man made," "lab grown," or "foundry" to signify cultured, but so far not requiring it. It is interesting to note that the crystal formation differences between mined and cultured diamonds, which is absolutely different in pattern, was not discussed. What are your thoughts?
