• Must have extensive experience in the broker/wholesale space, working with multiple lenders and multiple lender portals as a broker-wholesale processor. This is a MUST. No exceptions will be made! We are not looking for LOAs (loan officer assistants) or LOs (loan officers).
• This will be a full-time, W2 position. Remote position. No health insurance provided at this time.
• Must have a quiet, dedicated, and separate area of your home, that is your home office. You must have the ability to work in your home office just like a real office, for a full workday, uninterrupted.
• Must be available for Zoom meetings during work hours (we use Zoom and do zoom calls at least twice a week.) – no makeup/hair brushing required!
• We use Lending Pad and Arive. If you have experience using one or both of these systems – that would be a PLUS!!
• Must have a solid understanding of mortgage guidelines to help move files through to closing. (Conventional, VA, FHA, USDA, NON-QM – you don’t have to know EVERYTHING but need to be able to catch things when underwriters miss them.)
• Ability to register, lock (LOs will lock most of files), run AUS, send disclosures, balance CDs, manage loans through, for on time smooth closings.
• Must be a problem solver. Take the initiative to figure out questions, guidelines or issues with given tools but not afraid to ask for help if you’ve exhausted your options or can’t figure it out after trying to yourself.
• Must be computer literate/savvy – must be able to manage emails efficiently, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets and other computer programs used in the everyday processing of mortgage loans.
• Must be motivated, organized, tenacious, friendly, a self-starter, work well with others, and must have excellent time management skills.
• Must possess exemplary customer service/relationship skills. You will be working with LOs and borrowers. Customer surveys will be considered for bonus opportunities. Repeat business and referrals come from happy customers!
• Provide references directly from wholesale brokers that you processed for that will have glowing and incredible things to say about you.
• You will be interviewed via Zoom with the four owners of the company.
• We have highly experienced owners who have all been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years EACH. We have worked as branch managers, processing managers, loan originators, loan processors, loan funders, loan underwriters, realtors and compliance officers. We have worked in the retail, builder and broker channels of the mortgage industry. You will be well supported!
