We’ve been getting LOTS of calls, texts, and messages about the State Farm dividend emails and letters, so we wanted to clear up the confusion!

State Farm Mutual is currently distributing a one-time $5 BILLION cash-back dividend to qualifying auto customers.

📩 If you receive an email, the official payment-selection email will come from mail to: [email protected].

📬 No email on file? Qualifying customers will automatically receive a check by mail.

Payments are being sent out in waves, so don’t worry if someone you know has received theirs and you haven’t yet!

⚠️ And please be careful, scammers know these payments are going out too. State Farm will never ask you to pay a fee or provide your personal passwords to receive your dividend.

These little bears have a pretty important job ahead of them. 🧸

Joanna and Isabella Begnaud with Louisiana Jeepers stopped by to collect bears for the Kiwanis Club, where they’ll help provide a little comfort to children at crash scenes through our local fire departments.

Something as simple as a teddy bear can mean a lot to a child during a scary moment, and we’re happy to see these little guys headed where they’re needed most.

700 men. One incredible day of community and fellowship.

I had the opportunity to attend the Man to Man Catholic Conference in Lafayette today, joining nearly 700 men from across Acadiana for a day centered on faith, encouragement, fellowship, and becoming stronger men for our families and communities.

There’s something pretty special about seeing that many people come together with a shared purpose.

And a great day is always better when you get to share it with a good friend! I enjoyed spending some time with Troy Bergeron, a great man who shares my love for Scott and our community.

Today was a great reminder that strong communities start with people willing to show up for one another. Grateful for a day well spent!

BINGO was a hit in Scott!

Yesterday, the City of Scott held its very first FREE Senior Bingo, and y’all showed up! A whopping 172 people came out for an afternoon of bingo, prizes, and good company.

RJ was there representing our office, and Brian Schlesinger State Farm was happy to provide NuNu’s gift cards as door prizes and from the looks of our winner, they were a hit! 😄

And apparently winning Bingo in Scott comes with Chief of Police security detail for your prize. 😂 We take those NuNu’s gift cards seriously around here!

A big thank you to the City of Scott for putting together such a fun afternoon for our local seniors. Judging by that packed room, we think it’s safe to say Scott was READY for Bingo!

And good it’s happening again! Senior Bingo will be held at the Scott Event Center on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2–4 PM.

There are some people who leave such a mark on your life that a year, or any amount of time, doesn’t change how much you miss having them around.

Mike was truly one of a kind. A wonderful man, an incredible husband to Lisa, and such a special friend to all of us. He was also one of the biggest supporters of our office. He was always cheering us on, showing up for us, and usually making us laugh while doing it.

Mike loved to drive. It wasn’t just what he did for a living, he truly loved being behind the wheel, especially in his truck, Pete.

After Mike’s service, we got back into our car, turned it on, and Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler) was playing on the radio. Of all the songs that could have been playing at that exact moment… THAT one! It was one of those moments you simply can’t explain.

We miss his humor, his friendship, and just having him around. We love Lisa so much, and we’re holding her and all who loved Mike especially close today.

Mike, you are still talked about, still laughed about, still loved, and very much still missed. 💙

Seven years ago, Laura joined our team. Somewhere along the way, she became family.

Today, we celebrated all that Laura has meant to our office over the past seven years. Her dedication, compassion, and genuine care for both our customers and our team have left an impact that can’t be measured.

One of the greatest blessings of owning a small business is the relationships you build along the way. While we’re sad to see Laura begin a new chapter, we’re incredibly grateful for the seven years we were fortunate enough to have her on our team.

Laura, thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, and for being such an important part of our story. We’ve celebrated milestones together, shared so many memories over the years, and have been blessed to watch your journey unfold. Your presence has made our office a better place, and you’ll be deeply missed.

We wish you nothing but happiness and success in everything that comes next. You’ll always be part of the Brian Schlesinger State Farm family. ❤️
