Had the esteemed privilege of attending the groundbreaking ceremony of the Lewis Estates and Townhomes development at the former Colonial Gardens public housing site in the City of Gary. 🏡🏘️ New townhomes, single family homes and smart homes are coming to Gary! 💪🏾🙌🏾 Mr. Chris Lewis, Aniah Lewis, Leah Lewis all those involved are truly to be commended for this endeavor! 👏🏾👏🏾 Looking forward to attending the ribbon cutting ceremony next spring!! 🎊🎈

Around 2009 or 2010, I had recently started working for The City of East Chicago Dept of Resevelopment. While I was still somewhat new, I ended up attending a meeting and found out that the West Calumet neighborhood was a “Superfund” site. I had absolutely no idea what a Superfund was nor what it meant! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ But I would later find out that a large amount the soil in West Cal had been contaminated with large amounts of lead. 😲😲 And because of this, we were only able to build 3 new homes in that neighborhood…. Fast forward to yesterday. 🙌🏾 The soil has been cleaned up and I was able to attend groundbreaking for new housing that will be built in Weat Cal! 👏🏾👏🏾 2 new townhomes and a new single family home!! Kudos to all those that made this possible!! Looking forward to the continued great things in store for East Chicago!!!

So my client Ms Lesley Marie closed on her new office location back in September but she made me keep it hush hush! 😂😂 But this past Saturday, I had the honor and privilege of attending “A Helper’s Heart Home Care’s” grand opening in the City of Highland, Indiana!! 🎉🎊 We had one deal to fall through. But delay doesn’t mean denial! 🙌🏾👏🏾 So I’m truly elated for Lesley and the organization that she has built from the ground up! And the best is still yet to come!! 🎈🎈🎈

Had a great time this morning at the City of Hammond’s Annual Realtors Breakfast at the Lost Marsh Golf Course!! ⛳️ Food is always great! Really enjoyed learning about some of the new developments that Hammond has planned. Kudos to Mayor McDermott and the entire staff for all the work they do for the City. It was interesting that many of the questions that were directed at the Mayor, were about the school system though. 😲🤷🏾‍♂️
