These are the official dates when the FOMC will be meeting to discuss lowering interest rates. The market is predicting as many as 6 rate cuts this year, although the FOMC has been more moderate in their forecasts. Overall, most economists do expect interest rates to come down this year. Of course, this affects mortgage rates!
