🌟 Employee Spotlight: Lola Suarez -Strategic Relationship Manager 🌟

At Roanoke Insurance Group, we’re proud to highlight the incredible talent and dedication of our team members. This month, we’re excited to introduce Lola Suarez, who joined us in January 2026 as a Strategic Relationship Manager.

Lola started her career in warehousing and fulfillment, giving her real-world experience and insight to the operations and pressures our clients face every day. She then transitioned into insurance brokerage, earning her property & casualty license and working in client-facing roles servicing commercial insurance, cargo, and bonds across U.S. and Canadian markets.

In her day-to-day work, Lola focuses on being proactive vs. reactive: paying attention to details, identifying potential issues early, and working through them with clients before they turn into problems. Internally, she’s known as someone people can count on, both for clear communication and for being willing to help teammates think through coverage questions or client challenges.

Lola chose Roanoke for its long-standing reputation in the industry and its client-focused approach to risk management, which closely reflects how she works and the professional standards she holds herself to.

Outside the office, Lola is active with industry groups including the Chicago Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association and the International Air Cargo Association of Chicago. She also volunteers with local nonprofits, supports food pantry programs, and participates in community education and fundraising events.

Looking ahead, Lola is focused on supporting clients in their daily operations while helping them make informed, long-term risk decisions. We’re glad to have Lola on the team and look forward to the energy she brings to supporting our clients and the broader Roanoke team.
