PCS season brings more than just a new address. It often means new costs, new timelines, and a lot of moving parts.

The biggest difference I see isn’t in the move itself. It’s in how prepared people are before it starts.

A few things I encourage:
• Adjust your budget for the new duty station
• Plan for out-of-pocket expenses
• Stay mindful of short-term cash flow
• Keep long term goals in focus

A PCS will always be busy, but having a plan in place can make it feel a lot more manageable.

Feeling very grateful today. My girls surprised me with a cake, and it means more than I can put into words.

Being their dad is my proudest role, and I don’t take a single moment of it for granted. Proud, thankful, and feeling very loved today.

Summer is often when life speeds up. Travel, changes in spending, shifting priorities. It is also a time when we start to see new financial trends take shape for the second half of the year. Markets move, headlines change, and it can be easy to feel pulled in different directions.
